Risk Assessment                                   

 
We all do it everyday without thinking about it or writing it down. We always look both ways before crossing the road, and we teach our children the same thing, but give it a name [risk assessment] and everyone either runs a mile or falls asleep.

Formal risk assessment a way of providing evidence (ie documentation), that you have actually considered the environment and conditions you are working in, and made sensible & practical changes or arrangements to improve your safety and that of others as necessary.

It is not as onerous as most people think and the system we use comes with a straight forward presentation to explain the reasons for it, and how to use it.

If any of our Energy Assessors have questions that are not covered in the presentation then they are welcome to call the office or pop in and we will be happy to assist.
